Following the work plan in 2020 approved by the Institute Council (IC) at the 4th IC meeting on February 14, 2020, together with recruitment, knowledge- & skill-based training for newcomers và untrained employees is considered crucial. With the consent of the Institute"s leaders, the first training course of 20đôi mươi was held on June 25 at the Hi-Tech Incubation and Training Centre in Hoa Lac.

Overview of the training session

Attending this training course were 16 officials from R&D và Administration Units & Project Management Unit (PMU). The training agenda comprises lecturer’s presentation & discussion on two contents, including Basic issues in State management of S&T & Decree 95/2014 / ND-CP.. dated October 17, năm trước regarding the regulations on investment và financial mechanism for S&T activities, delivered by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Song - Deputy Director of Vietphái nam Institute of Science Technology và Innovation (VISTI).

In his opening speech at the beginning of the training course, Dr. Kum Dongwha, President, emphasized that the training for members on State management in general and State management of S&T in particular should be carried out on a regular basis. This will equip employees with a sound foundation of knowledge helping them cooperate and resolve the work at in the most systematic và professional way.

This training course paves the way for the collaboration between và VISTI in training và capacity-building for staff. I did not look for public corporations because in their research institutes, most of them only solve their own problems. Dr. Phuong Thien Thuong: Personally I found the orientation of introducing technologies for the industrial sector of is very necessary, because in the past, research in Vietnam is often not associated with two things: one is specific output that whether the market needs or not, other one is the basis for implementation - the business itself. I myself, in the past, had carried out a research project to lớn apply the active ingredient extract from citrus bark to make medicine for Hanoi Department of Science và Technology. It is a technology that is clearly the market needed, because domestic manufacturers are having to lớn import that material lớn produce products. I kept accepting orders và did not know that there was no extraction plant in Vietnam giới, even if the công nghệ was introduced, it could not be applied. This is a lesson about having no basis for deployment.

Dr. Nguyen Duy Tai: I think there are a lot of problems that are posed from Enterprises, because have sầu no business develops without innovation and Technology. Even if it"s not good at foreign technology, it"s good to lớn bring it inlớn the country. In our country, the development of a contract research institute with the industrial sector is still new, according to you expect, what difficulties và advantages will there be?

Dr. Phuong Thien Thuong: In terms of advantages, is determined by the Government Leaders và the Ministry of Science & Technology (MOST) that create favorable conditions in terms of policies, operating budget for the first time. also received help from the Korean side on science and công nghệ & the experience of the KIST Institute (Korea), which was evaluated lớn be ranked 6th in the innovative retìm kiếm institutes worldwide in several recent years.
