Chương trình tiên tiến Việt-Mỹ ngành Điện tử Viễn thông
Giới thiệu
Chương trình Tiên tiến (CTTT) là dự án quốc gia do Bộ GD&ĐT chỉ đạo thực hiện và đầu tư nhằm áp dụng có chọn lọc chương trình đào tạo tiên tiến của các nước phát triển trên thế giới, góp phần nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo của các trường đại học trong nước, tiến tới xây dựng các trường đạt chuẩn quốc tế trong tương lai.

Dự án được triển khai từ năm 2006 với 10 ngành đào tạo đầu tiên trên toàn quốc. Được chọn để triển khai CTTT ngành Điện tử Viễn thông, ĐH Bách Khoa – ĐH Đà Nẵng đã đàm phán kí kết với trường đối tác ĐH Washington, Hoa Kỳ, xếp hạng thứ 22 Hoa Kỳ trong ngành ĐTVT, để sử dụng hoàn toàn chương trình đào tạo và đề cương giảng dạy của trường bạn.
Mục tiêu đào tạo
Nhiệm vụ của Chương trình Tiên tiến – ĐHĐN là đào tạo các sinh viên giỏi theo chuẩn quốc tế cho thị trường lao động trong và ngoài nước, tiên phong về chất lượng đào tạo ngành Điện tử Viễn thông bậc đại học, trang bị cho các kỹ sư tốt nghiệp từ chương trình này khả năng nghề nghiệp hoàn thiện, khả năng theo học các bậc học cao hơn và khả năng học tập trọn đời. Chương trình học được thiết kế khoa học và tư vấn áp dụng bởi trường ĐH Washington nhằm cung cấp tốt nhất cho sinh viên kiến thức lý thuyết và kỹ năng thực hành.
Tham gia CTTT, sinh viên sẽ:
1. Được giảng dạy bởi các giảng viên tốt – là chuyên gia trong một số chuyên ngành, tích cực tham gia công tác nghiên cứu và phát triển;
2. Học các kiến thức cơ bản thông qua các môn lõi bắt buộc để biết cách ứng dụng khoa học và toán học vào kỹ thuật, đồng thời được yêu cầu rèn luyện kỹ năng nói và viết Anh ngữ hiệu quả;
3. Ứng dụng các kiến thức kỹ thuật vào các chuyên ngành hẹp trong ngành điện tử viễn thông để có được các kinh nghiệm thiết kế vững vàng;
4. Ứng dụng công cụ phần mềm hiện đại và thiết bị thí nghiệm vào thiết kế và phân tích kỹ thuật trong một môi trường chú trọng kiểu làm việc tập thể;
5. Tìm kiếm các cơ hội để có thêm kinh nghiệm bên ngoài chương trình học, bằng cách tham gia các đề án nghiên cứu, các hợp tác trong công nghiệp, các tổ chức sinh viên ngành điện tử viễn thông, các dịch vụ kỹ thuật cho cộng đồng để có những hiểu biết về các ảnh hưởng xã hội của các hoạt động kỹ thuật;
6. Tạo ra sáng tạo và cải tiến cần thiết cho việc học tập cả đời trong lĩnh vực điện tử viễn thông thay đổi cực kỳ nhanh chóng, nhất là tại một quốc gia đang phát triển như Việt Nam.
Chuẩn đầu ra
Sau khi tốt nghiệp từ chương trình, Kỹ sư ngành Điện tử – Viễn thông có khả năng:
1. Có khả năng áp dụng các kiến thức khoa học cơ bản trong công tác chuyên môn.
2. Có khả năng thiết kế, tiến hành thí nghiệm, phân tích và giải thích các dữ liệu.
3. Có khả năng xác định, phân tích và giải quyết các vấn đề kỹ thuật.
4. Có khả năng sử dụng phương pháp kỹ thuật, các công cụ kỹ thuật hiện đại, các phần mềm chuyên dụng vào thực tiễn kỹ thuật.
5. Có khả năng sửa chữa, thiết kế, tư vấn, giám sát, vận hành và quản lý các thiết bị, hệ thốngtrong lĩnh vực điện tử, viễn thông, đáp ứng các yêu cầu thực tiễn về kinh tế, xã hội, môi trường, an toàn lao động và sản xuất bền vững.
6. Có kiến thức về các vấn đề đương thời và kiến thức cần thiết để hiểu được sự ảnh hưởng của các giải pháp kỹ thuật tới bối cảnh xã hội, môi trường, kinh tế và sự toàn cầu hóa.
7. Có khả năng suy nghĩ độc lập, tư duy phản biện và làm việc nhóm hiệu quả.
8. Có khả năng giao tiếp và sử dụng ngoại ngữ hiệu quả trong công tác chuyên môn và trong môi trường quốc tế.
9. Có khả năng trình bày, diễn thuyết và báo cáo kết quả.
10. Có khả năng nhận thức được nhu cầu học tập của bản thân và có khả năng học tập suốt đời.
11. Có ý thức về đạo đức nghề nghiệp, thái độ chính trị tốt và trách nhiệm đối với xã hội và môi trường.
Yêu cầu về tiếng Anh – Required English
Trong năm học đầu tiên sinh viên được học tập trung tiếng Anh bởi các giáo viên bản ngữ và giáo viên Việt Nam giàu kinh nghiệm. Sinh viên được yêu cầu phải đạt được chứng chỉ tiếng Anh quốc tế (TOFEL iBT, IELTS) trong năm học đầu tiên và năm học cuối cùng.

Develops understanding of modern energy systems through theory and analysis of thesystem and its components. EE 416 Random Signals for Communications and Signal Processing

Introduction to wireless networks as an application of basic communication theorems. Examines modulation techniques for digital communications, signal space, optiumum receiver design, error performance, erroe control coding for high reliability, mulitpathfading and its effects, RF link budget analysis, WiFi and Wimax systems. EE 433 Analog Circuit Design
Design of analog circuits and systems applying modern integrated circuit technology: operational amplifiers, differential amplifiers, active filters, voltage references andregulators. Prerequisite: 1.0 in EE 332.
EE 436 Medical Instrumentation
Introductory course in the application of instrumentation to medicine. Topics includetransducers, signal-conditioning amplifiers, electrodes and electrochemistry, ultrasoundsystems, electrical safety, and the design of clinical electronics. Laboratory included.For upper-division and first-year graduate students preparing for careers inbioengineering – both research and industrial. Prerequisite: EE 332.
EE 440 Introduction to Digital Imaging System
Image representation and standards, visual perception and color spaces, spatial domain image filtering and enhancement, image restoration, image transforms, imageand video coding, image geometrical transformation and camera modeling.Prerequisite: EE 341.

Methods and techniques for digital signal processing. Review of sampling theorems, A/D and D/A converters. Demodulation by quadrature sampling.
